SASC 2010!

Announces New Safety Forum

(Next Forum - September 15, 2010)

"Be a Safety Forum host and have your company spotlighted as a supporter of the Sheboygan Area Safety Council"

(To be a host company, contact Brian Lilyquist at LTC, 920-693-1212)

Formally called the Roundtable, the new Safety Forum offers networking, problem solving, and educational opportunities for anyone responsible for, or interested in, finding solutions to their safety related problems or increasing their knowledge and experience in workplace safety.  The Safety Forum, hosted by area businesses, will start off with introductions and a networking opportunity for participants to get to meet other safety professionals from other companies that they can build relationships with to use as future resources to contact for answering safety related questions. After the introduction and networking time, the “Forum” will be opened up to anyone who has a safety related question that they would like to get input on from the rest of those in attendance. The accumulated safety knowledge that will be at the Safety Forum will offer a great opportunity to find out best practices to your safety related questions. This sharing of ideas and solutions will make for high impact problem solving and idea generation.

Following the “Forum”, the host company will offer a tour of their company. This portion of the Safety Forum provides an educational opportunity to learn about different manufacturing processes and the different products manufactured in Sheboygan County.

The goal for the new Safety Forum is to average 20 in attendance, representing at least 12 businesses or organizations, at each Safety Forum. The new Safety Forum and networking opportunity will next be  September 15, 2010. Watch for details. We look forward to seeing you there.
